ты организуешь / заказываешь / допускаешь, чтобы это сделал кто-то другой.

Have vs Get

✔ I had the documents translated. (formal)

✔ I got the documents translated. (more informal, “наконец-то”)

Tense flexibility

Causative используется во всех временах, включая perfect & continuous:

• The house is being redecorated.
• I have had my phone fixed twice this year.
• She will have the report prepared by Friday.
• We had been having the system tested for weeks.

Causative ≠ Passive (важное отличие)

✔ The car was repaired.

✔ I had the car repaired.

Causative for problems & bad experiences

⚠️ have/get + object + past participle

часто используется для неприятных ситуаций, иногда без намерения

He had his phone stolen.

She got her wallet taken.

🧠 Не значит, что он хотел этого!

Causative with personal responsibility

📌 Часто используется, чтобы подчеркнуть ответственность

You should have this checked immediately.

I’ll get it sorted.

Causative with agents (optional)

Исполнитель by… используется редко и только если важен:

I had my hair cut by a professional stylist.

Обычно — без by.

Get someone to do something (другая структура)

⚠️ НЕ путать:

have/get + object + past participle

→ результат

I had my laptop repaired.

get + person + to + infinitive

→ убеждение

I got him to fix my laptop.

Advanced patterns

Need + -ing (passive meaning)

The roof needs repairing.

(= needs to be repaired)

Have something done + time reference

I had the contract signed before the deadline.

Causative + modal verbs

You should have it checked.

It must be getting fixed soon.
